Comet Growth is proud to support face2face, this year's Youth Company at Kongsberg! 🤩🎉 Impressed by the girls 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 and their fantastic work with the podcast face2face, which already has over 50,000 listens and addresses important topics for youth.

After a three-minute long pitch in the auditorium at Flåtaløkka, each youth company had their own booth where the jury could gain a deeper insight into the various business ideas. In total, the students competed in nine different categories, with the top three in each category being awarded with a diploma and a prize check.

The most prestigious award was for the youth company of the year, which this year went to the podcast Face2Face. In the podcast, they discuss taboo topics about youth life and aim to show other young people that they are not alone in what they feel.

The jury's rationale:

"The company shows strong engagement and addresses a national challenge. They faced a demanding challenge early on which they managed to turn to their advantage. They have engaged multiple business actors and appear thorough and professional in sales, product, and reporting."

Including the accolade for the best youth company, the girls of Face2Face were on the podium in all categories except one. Fun! "This was fun! We released our first teaser on November 16th and have put a lot of effort into the podcast. We spend a lot of time outside of school," explained Jenny Lintvedt.

What started as a school project has evolved into a hobby and leisure activity. Together, they now want to create a new season.

Synne Sørensen explains that they have had a couple of 10-hour days in the preparation for the school championship. The theme is clearly something that engages them.

"The podcast has become a safe space in a way. It is by youth, for youth, and we have addressed topics such as peer pressure and the importance of finding a group where you truly feel you belong," said Face2Face. "We create a podcast where we talk about taboo topics about youth life. We want youth to feel a sense of belonging to our podcast, so they know they are not alone in what they feel."
