PERFORMAR
How people-first content took a maritime crewing company's LinkedIn page from zero to 26,000+ organic impressions and a 7.6% engagement rate in six months.
Performar
THE CHALLENGE
Performar's day to day work is built on people: real crew, real placements, real relationships across international shipping. Its LinkedIn page did not yet reflect that. Like many technically strong crewing companies, the energy at Performar went into operations, not communications, and the page had no consistent rhythm of content behind it.
The challenge was to build a real presence from a standing start: a steady flow of content that felt credible to a maritime audience, without asking for more time than a busy leadership team could realistically give.

OUR ROLE
Comet Growth took over management of Performar's LinkedIn page in March 2026, handling strategy, planning, writing and publishing on an ongoing basis.
We built a posting rhythm from scratch, translating day to day crew management work and genuine industry moments into content that reflected how Performar actually operates. Wherever possible, we brought real people into the story, most notably around the Day of the Seafarer and International Day for Women in Maritime, both built around the Performar team rather than generic industry themes.

WHAT WE DELIVER
● LinkedIn page management and strategy
● Content planning and posting calendar
● Organic content writing and publishing
● Industry-moment and awareness-date content
● Crew management storytelling
● Performance tracking and reporting
● Ongoing analytics and recommendations

IMPACT
Over six months, Performar's LinkedIn page grew from a standing start into an active, consistently performing channel. Sixteen posts generated more than 26,000 impressions and an average engagement rate of 7.6%, well above what's typical for a company page of this size, all organic, with no paid promotion behind it. The page also more than doubled its followers over the same period, entirely organic growth.
The strongest content was consistently the most personal. Posts built around real people and real moments, the Day of the Seafarer and International Day for Women in Maritime, delivered the highest engagement of the period.
The result is a clear, credible LinkedIn presence built entirely on organic reach, proof of what consistent, people-first content can do for a maritime crewing company.
